AKA Rasher's jornal-thingy. Want to go back?
I've bought more stuffs.
A pair of Sennheiser CX 300 headphones, which after a bit of trouble eventually arrived. I'd ordered them from England because they (along with most other electronics) are ridiculously expensive in Danish shops. I think they are absolutely great. At first they felt a little strange, because I've been used to regular hard plastic in-ear headphones which don't seal at all. The fact that the CX 300s seal as well as they do felt uncomfortable at first, but once I got used to that, I don't know how I ever enjoyed portable music without them. The bass feels like actual bass and everything is so much clearer.
Nephew - Interkom kom ind, which I believe is also pretty darn good. I quite like the heavy doses of 80s that Nephew puts in their music, and this new album is every bit as good as their breakthrough (but not debut) album USADSB. It seems like they're not at all concerned with writing lyrics that make sense (even less so than with USADSB), but that's fine with me as long as the music is as effect full as it is.
Kaizers Orchestra - Live at Vega. A n apparently brilliant live concert, which is captured just about as well as you can hope for when trying to cram a tightly packed concert into a 12-cm disc of polycarbonate plastic.
A double-pack DVD set including Fight Club and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I bought it primarily for Fight Club and I have yet to see either film (I've seen Fight Club previously though).
Yes, I see you spamming. No, it will not get displayed. You're wasting your time. Bugger off.
Writing this in the halftime of the final. As the score is now 1-1, my previous prediction (1-0 in Italy's favour) is obviously not going to work out.
Updated prediction: Italy scores another goal in the first 20 minutes, similar to the first one (high ball in the box headed in) and wins 2-1.
The last week has been very uneventful. I've been living in my parents' house since last friday. They were going on vacation, and their wishes of having someone to look after the house and water their plants mixed well with my wishes of getting a bit of fresh air and lying in the sun.
So I've basically just been doing nothing but lying down and watching television all week. Tomorrow they come home, and I'll go home as well.
Now the World Cup is nearly over, luckily the Tour de France is just getting started, so it all works out in the end, and I have some sport to waste my time on.
For the World Cup final, I predict a 0-1 win for Italy over France. I'm sure history will come back to bite me in the ass on that.
As for the Tour de France, I have absolutely no predictions. All bets are off by now, with everyone considered a favourite before the Tour, no longer riding. If I had to mention a name, I guess it'd be Klöden, but I'd be unable to tell you why.
I've been working on an updated version of the journal, which will feature commenting and some sort of file-attachments (that means pictures, I guess). It's going to look absolutely the same though, I'm afraid.
That's all for now.
