Tales from a strange world

AKA Rasher's jornal-thingy. Want to go back?

Test, and the fact that stuff works/unworks.

OK, the test at school was surprisingly easy. I'm pretty confident that I managed to answer most of them correctly. However, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad sign.

Final test for drivers licens hasn't been set, but it seems that I'll be having another teacher for the last lessons. Kinda hurg, but as my teacher said while on the phone with the other teacher "these are people that can drive. I was honoured.

I'm going to kill Linux soon, or some random Debian developer. Making X not work, how dare they? Anyway, it seems that I have located the problem and a solution might be on its way.

Oh and I went to work today. Felt good being back. No it didn't, I loved the holidays last week.

School's evil.

School was particularly nasty and evil today. Well it wasn't, but it lasted longer than yesterday so it felt worse. We have a physics test tomorrow which will surely kill me.. I'm not looking forward to it.

Right now, the moose and Vigilante is in #aglami, trying to kill a joke I stole somewhere. They always do that, but Moose is apparently ill, so bwahahaha!

I'll go have a few driving lessons now, and the teacher might have decided when the final test will be.

Baah, it looks like copyright dudes might show up at TheParty - a computer gathering type of thing that I'm going to in December. This might spoil some of the Athmospheare, but let's hope not.

Huzzah and yay!

The computer thing worked out fine. It was a fine lappy that needed its MS Office updated. So I did, like a fox.

And the my VideoCD project finally resulted in a playable VideoCD that can be played (did I mention that it actually plays?).

That was 3 writings, in one day. I think I'll take the rest of the week off. Well no, but.

Let's not die now eh?

Right, the Is soon to finish, and if it doesn't work, this'll be my last post in a long time. 6 hours is just too long to keep doing it over and over.

Right, what else happened? Oh yes, my life's a mess. Well not as such, but I have no idea what I'm doing when. Someone asked me what I was doing in the next weekend and uhh... I hadn't got a clue. So, I should really start using a calender.

Better yet, I want some kind of PDA handheld thingy. It'll be the gadget over them all, or not.

Oh dear someone's coming, wanting me to do some stuff to his laptop. Will return later with the results.

Oh yes, well then.

So, I've started this journal for no good reason, other than I felt like it. In fact, I think that's a perfectly good reason, so nyah. So, what happened so far?

I had my computer start converting a movie into VCD format from DivX this morning in the hope that it'd be done when I got home. Needless to say, I was mighty displeased when I found that it had stopped halfway through because I had accidently used the wrong harddisk, which had filled. So now I have my computer working full speed on that while I'm using it. This is less than perfect, but well. On another note: while searching for help on the movie converting thing, I found a way to make my DVD player not care about region codes - yay!

After having grumbled a bit, I went to #aglami and that dude Vigilante, was writing his webjournal thing, so I decided to do one myself. And then, after 1 hour of coding (ok, it was 2, but I wasn't concentrating) - here it is, enjoy (if you must).
