AKA Rasher's jornal-thingy. Want to go back?
If I were to buy a new desktop computer right now, it should probably have the following characteristics:
I've bought more stuff. It just never ends, I guess. First, CDs:
Mew - And the Glass Handed Kites
Live - The Distance to Here
Genesis - The Way We Walk, Volume 2: The Longs
Also, I'm posting this from my new Nintendo Wii (thank god for usb keyboards).
I've bought more music of various kinds. In no particular order and with no comments (maybe later).
Nephew - 07.07.07
Kraftwerk - Die Mensch-Maschine
Hinder - Extreme Behavior
Hush - A Lifetime
Katie Melua - Piece by Piece
Lifehouse - Who We Are
I bought more CDs.
Trentemøller - The Last Resort - not the sort of music I normally listen to. It's electronic, very minimalistic and well, a bit strange really. I'm liking it a lot, but I don't think it's something I'll listen to every day.
L.O.C. - Cassiopeia - Danish rapper, which is also not something I'd usually buy. I already knew the album though, and liked many of the songs, so I thought I'd buy the album. Unfortunately it's "Copy Controlled", which really deserves a rant of its own, but I'll just leave it at that.
Moby - Play - It's probably not unreasonably to call this album a modern classic by now. And for good reason. I don't think there's a single track that I didn't instantly like when I first heard it.
D-A-D - Psychopatico - A live album by D-A-D missing from my collection. Only a few more to go.
My next music purchase might very well be some old Kraftwerk (in German, please). It's just amazing to think that they made electronic music decades ago that still seems relevant today. Listening to Trentemøller, I certainly hear some parallels.
